Dental Stuff and Ear Piercing

I am really starting to look into dental options for us.  I mean, I need at least, bare minimum, $20,000 worth of dental work.  Seriously.  With brutal honesty, probably over $30K.  Even if we made three times as much as we made now we wouldn't be able to afford that.  Even with dental insurance, and their $2000 yearly max benefit, it would take 10 years!  This is not really something that can be done a little at a time.  I know some people think it can, but I'm the only one who has taken a good, hard, close look inside my mouth, and trust me, it can't be.  Really.  It's all or nothing.  Fix them all at once, or just do nothing and wait for them all to fall out.  I don't have money to waste on this and that, when it's just putting chewing gum in the hole in the dam.  Why get a root canal when I can't afford the crown?

So...I am desperate.  There has to be programs for people who make a couple dollars too much to qualify for free dental services, for people who need massive quantities of dental care.  We're not talking about fillings here!  I mean, it's completely unrealistic for the vast majority of Americans to afford that kind of dental work.

I am planning on calling our local sliding-scale clinic and asking them if any of their dentists want a end-of-the-year tax deduction LOL!  Seriously, I've lost all shame too.  I mean, if they do my work, the tax deduction would be massive, especially for an independent practitioner who donates services anyway!

For Riley I've decided to try bioplasma cell salts.  Really.  People who I know say that it heals cavities.  Not like mine, but like Riley's.  Even if it's just a bunch of bunk, they're $9 for a bottle of 500.  I'm not going to go broke over $9.  Bioplasma isn't just for cavities, not by a long shot, so I'll take them too and see if they can at least slow the decay.  I am just sick of parts of my teeth falling off every single damn time I brush my teeth.  Argh!!

And I swear some people must think I'm a meth addict.  Cripes!

And what happened to my tooth enamel?  Like, what is wrong with it!!??  It's so aggravating when I know that I brush and floss as recommended, and always have, and this crap happens!  I mean, come on!!  This almost has to be a medical condition, right?  Why is this happening?

And Riley wants her ears pierced.  It kind of came out of left field for me.  She's always been very rational about the possibility of getting her ears pierced.  She admires earrings, but always weighed the pros and cons of getting pierced, and decided not to.  Even now that she has decided that she does want her ears pierced, she had me look up a picture of the piercing gun on the internet, because she wanted to look at it first before being 100% sure.  She initially came to me with her decision after discovering the small hoop earrings.  Turns out, she was worried about the backs of the posts poking her neck.  With hoops that doesn't happen (I didn't tell her about getting snagged on a hoop LOL)  Maybe we'll do it for her 7th birthday.  It's soon enough that she won't have to wait too long, but far enough away to make sure that's what she really wants.  Gah!  I keep meaning to take a good hard look at her earlobes.  She's got my ears, sans earlobes!

There's a movement, and I'm sure you've heard of him, Westin Price. He claims there's a direct link between the food we eat and our teeth. I don't know. It might be something to look into, and it could slow things down.
