The Perfect Pair of Jeans!

This blog has nothing to do with the children...
I had a perfect pair of jeans about 10 years ago when I worked at Gap. I loved them. I wore them a lot. They didn't last. Then Gap stopped making them. I haven't had a perfect pair since them. Passable, yes. Comfortable, yes. But perfect? No.
Until yesterday. I went to Kohls because my hitherto most comfortable jeans had developed a hole in the knee. I wasn't familiar with Kohls brands or sizing, but they were having a great sale. I gathered about half-dozen different brands and different sizes and headed to the dressing room. Lo and behold I FOUND THE PERFECT JEANS!! And for $11.99 (60% off)!! They are form-fitting, but not tight and restrictive, with just the perfect amount of stretch. And, ladies, you know how important the pockets are, right? (Rudi doesn't understand this) The pockets are usually too small, too big, too close together, or too far apart. Too high or too low. These pockets are absolutely perfectly placed on my butt. The waist band falls at the top of my hips, not so low to show underwear and not so high as to cause that gap in the waistband that has been the bane of my existence my entire life. And get this, they haven't stretched out and lost their shape (I hate that about jeans, you wear them for a few hours and pretty soon they are stretched out and falling off, or shapeless and frumpy-looking). I wore them the evening that I got them (for a few hours) and all day the following day, and they still fit the same as when I first bought them. And to add to the excitement, I fell asleep in them accidentally while nursing Avery to sleep and when I woke in the morning, they still had not stretched out! Holy cow, I'm in love.
I have to put them in the wash now, so pray for me and my jeans...If they fit as well when they've been washed I will head out to Kohls and get more (even if it's not in our budget, you can't pass up on fate!).
