Avery's 5th Birthday!!
Tuesday, December 7, 2010 by Amy
Yeah, so I'm changing the date on this post. Yes, probably cheating, but whatever!
I just can't believe that my youngest child is 5! Or that a person that small can possibly be 5! My little baby, born with her eyes open, who didn't like to be swaddled or clench her hands into fist. She's always been so secure with her placement in this world, and she needs no validation from anyone, friends or family. She is so secure in herself, she'd be perfectly happy if she were the only human to inhabit this world. My most difficult baby and most joyful toddler. Most of the time. After all, it was in the midst of one of Avery's fits of rage that Riley learned the quote "hell hath no fury like a woman scorn'd!" My little artist with a fierce perfectionist streak. My little helper, always ready to help cook or clean (as long as you don't ask her to clean her room!). Happy Birthday, Avery!
And some old-school pictures of Avery just for amusement!
